About The Gull Lake Frozen Fore…
The Gull Lake Frozen Fore is a winter fest held at area resorts and restaurants on Gull Lake. At each of our 9 locations (Bar Harbor, Cragun’s, Ernie’s on Gull, Grand View Lodge, Kelly’s, Matty’s, Quarterdeck, Zorbaz on Gull and Hole-in-the-Day Bay) you’ll test your golf skills by teeing off (a tennis ball) at a challenging golf hole. Then, jump on your snowmobile or ride our free-shuttle to your next location.
Gather at Hole-in-the-Day Bay for food and refreshments while participating in other family-friendly games.
A volunteer committee whose passion is bringing economics to the Brainerd Lakes Area runs the Gull Lake Frozen Fore.
Proceeds are donated to three area charities – Confidence Learning Center, Ski Gull, and The Blue Line Club.
Confidence Learning Center is a year-round outdoor education and recreation facility for persons with developmental disabilities. Confidence Learning Center is a registered non-profit 501c3 that receives no local, state or federal funding. They rely solely on individual and corporate donations as well as fundraisers.
Ski Gull operates a registered non-profit 501c3 facility that receives no local, state, or federal funding. We offer skiing, snowboarding and tubing in one convenient location. Helping our community to become a better place to live has been our guiding principle for over 40 years. Ski Gull’s mission is to provide challenging activities in a fun and healthy environment which empowers youth to develop confidence, competency and compassion through the development of outdoor recreational programs and opportunities for our area youth and families.
The Blue Line Club is a non-profit fundraising organization for our local High School Hockey team, the Northern Lakes Lightning. The Lightning is comprised of high school students from Pequot Lakes, Pine River, Aitkin and Crosby-Ironton. Our home ice is the Breezy Point Ice Arena located minutes from Minnesota's premier Vacation destination. Built in 1998, Breezy Point is also home to the Pequot Lakes Youth Hockey Association, which plays a vital role to the success of our facility and surrounding community. Today, there are over 140 youth hockey players. |
